How it Works:
The unit operates on 120vac and is connected in parrell to the blower motor.
Winter operation. Thermostat calls for heat.
The furnace kicks on, when the furnace reaches a certain temperature the furnace control turns the blower motor on and warm air starts blowing out the registers.
When the blower motor comes on, that activates the unit. After a slight delay, adjustable from 10-100 seconds, the unit starts it's misting cycle, adjustable
from 5-180 seconds, and starts misting into the warm air coming out of the registers and into the rooms, then automatically shuts off and resets itself ready for the next cycle.
You can adjust the mist time so it mists around the middle of the blower cycle. It just works better that way.
The thermostat reaches its setting and turns the furnace off. The blower motor continues to run until the furnace cools down then shuts off. Cycle complete.
The furnace cycle starts over.
